People’s Premiere of London Recruits at the Ritzy Picturehouse
On 21 November 2024, ACTSA hosted the People’s Release Premiere of Oliver Tambo’s London Recruits, an award-winning documentary-drama that highlights the covert missions of young international volunteers in the 1960s and 1970s supporting Oliver Tambo’s efforts in the fight against apartheid. Organised in collaboration with London Recruits, the event included a post-screening Q&A with the filmmakers and former recruits, providing a platform for reflection and discussion.
