Become a friend of ACTSA
Open to people and organisations who share ACTSA’s vision but who are less able to be regularly involved with campaigns. Friends and members will be invited to events, get the opportunity to meet with our activists and be kept up to date with all our projects.
The financial commitment from Friends underpins our research and policy work, enabling us to play a full role with UK partners and government departments on wide ranging issues affecting Southern Africa. Friends also support our inter-regional dialogues and our volunteer programme for young leaders following paths such as international relations, civil society and ethical business.
Most Friends give between £120-£500 per year, by monthly debit order, credit card or as an annual donation.

Become a Member
Be part of the vision for equality and justice in Southern Africa. By becoming a member, you’ll be closely informed about our campaigns and how to join with other members to make a difference.
Members’ support is vital to ACTSA’s independent voice and in providing solidarity to partners in the region, based on local priorities.
Membership is £20 per year for an individual, or £25 for two people under the same roof. Unwaged membership is £5 per year, whilst if you’re a student it’s £10.

Become an Affiliate
If you’re a trade union branch, member’s organisation or non-profit, you can affiliate to ACTSA.
We celebrate the strong relationships we have built with the trade union and other justice movements over the years, and this continuing support has been invaluable in achieving our goals. Trade Unions have helped us bring influential delegates from Swaziland, South Africa and Zimbabwe to the UK. They also support us in our campaign, lobbying and advocacy work, and take part in demonstrations and our public events.
