Protest outside Anglo American AGM in solidarity with communities in Zambia and elsewhere

On Wednesday 30th April we gathered outside the Annual General Meeting to stand in solidarity with community members from Peru, Chile and Zambia who will be speaking.

Anglo American, a London-based mining giant, is extracting minerals across South America and Africa – destroying ecosystems and water resources, violating Indigenous land rights, and leaving toxic waste that poisons children.

Their vision for the future is a vision for green imperialism: green hydrogen projects that drive communities off their lands and the exploitation of Greenland’s mineral resources in the service of military expansion.

Join us to stand with impacted communities globally and support their calls for justice ✊
