Celebrate 30 Years of Solidarity and Human Rights: ACTSA’s Birthday Party

This year marks 30 years since the founding of Action for Southern Africa—three decades of standing in solidarity with the people of Southern Africa in the struggle for human rights, justice, and equality. To honour this milestone, we’re hosting a special birthday celebration on Tuesday 17 June 2025 in the heart of London, and we’d love you to be part of it.

From 15:00 to 17:30, join us at St Martin’s Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, for an uplifting afternoon of connection and reflection. Over bubbles, classic afternoon tea and wonderful poetry from Nomakhwezi Becker (pictured on the left). We’ll be joined by long-standing friends and supporters of ACTSA to celebrate the impact of collective action in advancing human rights. A silent auction will offer unique and meaningful items—including original prints and paintings, an African safari experience, and treasures from ACTSA’s heritage collection—with all proceeds supporting our ongoing work.

Tickets are £45 and spaces are limited. Book now to be part of this important occasion: https://rb.gy/lsi399.

Together, we’ll honour the past, celebrate our achievements, and renew our commitment to a future rooted in dignity, freedom, and justice for all.
