HOW CAN I TAKE ACTION?

Contact Your MP about one of ACTSA’s campaigns

Contact your MP about one of our campaigns, and let them know you support the work that ACTSA does. Request that they inform the relevant government ministries about ACTSA’s demands.

You can find out who your local MP is here.

Spread the word

We need to raise awareness of the struggles facing the people of southern Africa. Write to your local newspaper or media outlet or share one of our articles to raise the profile of the situation in the region.

If you are dismayed that some mining companies won’t fairly compensate the mine workers they exploited under apartheid; shocked that the Commonwealth is turning a blind eye to human rights violations in Swaziland; or saddened that the UK does not provide aid to the countries most affected by HIV/AIDS let the media know.

You can share any one of our posts on Facebook or Twitter by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page, or check our Publications page to share one of our recent strategy or briefing papers.

By raising the profile of these issues you are putting pressure on the government and key stakeholders to take notice and take action.
