Action for Southern Africa (ACTSA) is a campaigning organisation that works for rights, equality and development across Southern Africa.
What we do
ACTSA works for rights, equality and development across Southern Africa. We raise awareness of the complex issues facing the region through campaigning and advocacy work, advancing education, projects, and delegations.
ACTSA consists of a small dedicated team of employees and volunteers.
ACTSA works with a broad range of civil society organisations, networks and coalitions in Southern Africa and in Europe. Our main civil society partners and alliances are listed here.
ACTSA was established in 1994 as the successor organisation to the Anti-Apartheid Movement (AAM) in response to the changed context of Southern Africa. We were registered as a charity in September 2017. Read more about our history here.
Reports & Accounts
ACTSA publishes audited accounts and will shortly begin publishing yearly reports from our trustees .
